Death: In the Anime Esmeraude is killed by Sailormoon after turning into a dragon. In the Manga Esmeraude is killed by Tuxedo Kamen's (Mask's) "Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber".
Love Interest: Esmeraude has a crush on Prince Demando.
Other: Esmeraude takes over after Rubeus' death. Her job is to take the small statues that Safiru created for her and place then at certain points in Tokyo, which will open the Black Gate. Esmeraude and Safiru don't get along very well. Esmeraude has a very loud voice and has a very high opinion of herself. She is in love with Prince Demando and is jealous of his obsession with Neo Queen Serenity. In the Anime Esmeraude asks Wiseman to give her more power, which he does. However, the evil power turns he into a dragon and she is killed after Tuxedo Kamen throws a rose into the center of the dragon's crown and Sailormoon uses her attack to destroy Esmeraude.
