The Shitennou (Four Heavenly Kings) appeared in the first season of Sailor Moon. In the Japanese version they were ruled by Queen Metaria and Queen Beryl. In the English version they were ruled by the Negaverse and Queen Beryl. In the Manga the Shitennou were originally Prince Endymion's guardians, until they were turned evil. Also in the Manga, when they were destroyed, they were turned into their respective gemstones.
